Working for Practical Engineering means working in a supportive culture of mentoring, continuous improvement and collaboration. We provide our people with challenging work, professional growth opportunities, a safe and enjoyable work environment and the opportunity to work on an expansive range of interesting jobs.

“I’d been at Practical only a few months when I was included in a small team on a large design project, making responsible decisions as an engineer and ensuring they were fit for purpose. In the previous four years since graduating I’d had only a fraction of the exposure, and little of it ‘hands on’. Have a look at some of our recent projects to get an idea of what people like you and I get to achieve here.”

If you can’t wait any longer to do some real engineering, get in touch with us, now!

Recent graduates – you are just as welcome. If you want to work directly with clients solving problems others can’t get their heads around, come and talk to us. We are looking for enthusiasm, the kind you had as a kid when you pulled things apart just to see how they worked.
