Production Flares function in almost every major oil and gas-gathering field. Our flaring systems are designed from the ground up. We use process calculations to define the acceptable operating range and perform heat flux calculations to ensure appropriate exclusion zones are in place for operator safety. We also complete hazardous area assessments to determine which equipment is most suitable for within the hazardous areas. Our flaring systems are structurally and mechanically designed so the pressure piping, vessels and structural components can endure harsh operating conditions.
With our knowledge and extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of flaring systems, Practical Engineering can provide your company with the most appropriate and innovative production flare. Our flares include:
1. Candle flares
Candle flares are used in a mine de-gassing system and have a gas capacity of 200,000 scf/d. Their features include a fitted flare arrestor, a hand winch for easy rig-up and down, and a knockout pot for handling water carry over.
2. Mine de-gassing well head skids
3. High Pressure High Temp (HPHT) Drilling
Practical Engineering has drilling flare tanks that can withstand extreme high pressure and high temperature conditions. Our flare tanks for the drilling industry have a gas capacity of up to 17.5 mmscf/d and are able to handle both gas and drilling mud mixtures.
4. CSG drilling
5. Control Systems
