In October 2014 Thermal Electric Elements engaged Practical Engineering for the design, RPEQ verification and fabrication of a Regeneration Heater Pressure Vessel. We are proud to announce the successful delivery of the completed project to BOC’s Bulwer Island Gas Plant, located near Pinkenba Queensland. Practical Engineering utilised local material supply to produce the AS1210 compliant 1000NB class 150 vessel at 6.6m length. This is the largest vessel completed in our Acacia Ridge workshop to date. Thermal Electric shipped their 1.566MW heater bundle to Practical’s facility for final factory acceptance, client witness testing and nitrogen purging prior to shipment to BOC’s site. This is the latest heater vessel supplied to Thermal Electric in our long standing relationship in supplying the New South Wales based heating elements manufacturer.
